SCIENTIFIC SESSIONS

We are now forming a scientific program divided into three main sessions: scientific talks, poster session, and workshops. Individual sessions will be related to current topics and applications that are of a paramount interest of the LIBS community.

Preliminary Program is now available

The Organisers reserve the right to make any changes to the event program.

Scientific awards

The interdisciplinary sessions will cover theoretical background and modeling, industrial and biological applications, and new advances in LIBS instrumentation and data processing (using chemometrics). We will be honored to host key and invited speakers that have the most valuable impact on the LIBS community. The program of scientific talks will be published until the end of June.

Poster sessions and student awards

We are looking forward to your posters! We are planning to organize a permanent poster session during the whole symposium. A committee established specially for this purpose will evaluate student poster contributions.

Workshops

Before the start of the symposium, we will organize two workshops that will reflect up-to-date approaches in basic and advanced LIBS data analysis. .

Symposium proceedings

Original scientific talks presented during the symposium may be submitted as a manuscript in the Spectrochimica Acta Part B: Atomic Spectrometry journal. The submission will be open from 8th September with a deadline on 30th November 2019. Scientific publications will be then collected in a special issue dedicated to our 10th jubilee EMSLIBS. Call for manuscripts will be open from 8th September until 31st December 2019.
